چکیده
Background: Aim of the study was to compare suture techniques using interrupted mattress and continuous subcuticular stapler in terms wound closure time; pain stitch line on post-operative day 3, 5 7 patient satisfaction. Methods: All patients fulfilling inclusion criteria, were divided into 3 categories (interrupted mattress, staples) by random selection. Assessment parameters being skin induration discharge 4 8; score visual analogue scale 7; gaping Patient satisfaction cosmesis Likert’s after 4-6 weeks. Results: The time sutures staples are found be 8.891±1.343; 11.390±1.438 1.518±0.502 respectively. Pain were: severe maximum seen group (n=21) as compared 6 group. Wound complications least One (1.20%) had group, (3.65%) (6.17%) gaping. dissatisfaction rate higher (8.64%) 6.09% 4.8% Conclusions: suturing technique has related most Staples quick application gives a good scar, but is associated with similar staples.

This cases series was conducted to record outcomes in our setup. METHODS Cases of caesarean sections were followed for adhesions and non-adhesions in peritoneal closure and non-closure cases from 1't January to December 2011 at DHQ Hospital Haripur. In n...
متن کاملClosure versus non-closure of the peritoneum at caesarean section: short- and long-term outcomes
BACKGROUND Caesarean section is a very common surgical procedure worldwide. Suturing the peritoneal layers at caesarean section may or may not confer benefit, hence the need to evaluate whether this step should be omitted or routinely performed. OBJECTIVES The objective of this review was to assess the effects of non-closure as an alternative to closure of the peritoneum at caesarean section ...

Background. Pain after Caesarean delivery is partly related to Pfannenstiel incision, which can be infiltrated with local anaesthetic solutions. Methods. A double- blind randomized control trial was designed to assess the analgesic efficacy of 7.5 mg/mL ropivacaine solution compared to control group, in two groups of one hundred and forty four parturients for each group, who underwent Caesarean...
